Toasted Ravioli – Beef & Cheese

Preparation

Regular bake: Preheat oven at 425°F. Evenly space frozen ravioli on flat baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Convection bake: Preheat oven at 400°F. Evenly space frozen ravioli on flat baking sheet. Bake for 6-7 minutes.

TIME SENSITIVE: Bake toasted ravioli to a minimum of 160°F. If ravioli begin to puff up, remove immediately.

Serving /Presentation Suggestions

Serve on a flat serving tray, and sprinkle with grated cheese just prior to serving.

Toasted Beef & Cheese Ravioli “Bacon Cheeseburger” Loaded

Overview

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 package Toasted Beef & Cheese Ravioli
  • 2 cups cheese sauce
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 4 slices of bacon, cut into ¼ inch strips
  • 2 Tbsp diced onion

Directions:

  • - Preheat oven to 425°F. Arrange frozen ravioli on baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
  • In skillet, sauté bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  • Add onions to the pan used to cook bacon and sauté.
  • Heat cheese sauce in a separate pan or microwave.
  • When Ravioli is done, top with cheese sauce, diced tomatoes, onion, crumbled bacon. Serve immediately.

Toasted Beef & Cheese Ravioli with Queso Blanco

Overview

  • Makes: about 1-1/2 cups

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 package (16 ounces) Louisa frozen toasted ravioli (any flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 green onions, coarsely chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 1 medium tomato (about 6 ounces), cut into 1/2-inch pieces (about 1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh jalapeno chile
  • 8 ounces queso blanco pasteurized recipe cheese product, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Arrange frozen ravioli on baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions, tomato and jalapeno and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until tomato softens. Add queso blanco and milk and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts, stirring. Remove skillet from heat; stir in cilantro.
  • Transfer ravioli to platter. Pour queso into serving bowl for dipping.

Toasted Beef & Cheese with Vodka Sauce

Ingredients (6 servings):

  • 1 package Toasted Beef & Cheese Ravioli
  • 1 16oz. can basic tomato sauce or marinara, blended until smooth
  • 1 cup vodka
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • chives, minced (optional)
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  • In a small pot, reduce vodka by half on low heat. Add tomatoes and cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Turn heat off. Stir in Parmigiano Reggiano until well blended then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake toasted ravioli in pre-heated oven at 425º F for 8-10 minutes and serve with hot vodka sauce topped with chives.
